I know, I know it's my dreeeaaaam! But really ladies and gentlemen being an event planner is not close to being that glamorous job you see on what I call Wed TV (all the wedding shows out there). Standing for 12 hours straight and hauling boxes back and forth is definitely not the image I know you have of an event planner, but that is truly how it is. It is a tough industry to get started in and even tougher to be successful in.
My girl, Saundra, in Indiana is doing an excellent piece on Becoming a Wedding Planner. Whether she knows it or not she's speaking for a lot of event planners nationwide.
