- Sometimes you get what you pay for! Unfortunately, the price you pay for a service may give you an indication of how good the service may be. Wedding planners are popping up everywhere! We have tons of wedding planners here in Charlotte. Keep that fact in mind when selecting the right person for your wedding.
- Before you pay the retainer for the wedding planner, make sure you click with them. It's not enough that they know everyone in the wedding industry in Charlotte, you should be able to get along with them. You should actually like them!

FYI - I know this isn't in the actual blog post, but I did not shop for my planner by cost alone. She was listed as one of the Top 5 planners in the Sacramento area in 2007, came with rave reviews on several websites, and several fabulous referral reviews. I guess she's just not working out for me.
As for clicking, when we met the first time - she was FABULOUS and I loved her. I'm just not loving her so much now.
Hi Kate, I'm glad you decided to leave a message. I guess when I read the post I was looking at it from a larger point of view, not necessarily at your particular situation.
The points that I mentioned are actual situations that are happening all over the place. Your post was just used as a springboard to mention those items.
All in all I think Liene gave you excellent advice.
