A great way to have a little extra fun at your wedding reception is to have a photobooth. Having this extra item is sure to add another dimension to your already fun wedding reception. Companies normally rent out the booth in four hour increments and you get unlimited photos for the time. You and your guests get to act silly in the photobooth and have the pictures to prove it. Sounds like fun to me. Google photobooths for rentals in your geographic area.

Pantone Spring 2008 Fashion Report - Let Fashion Help You Pick Your Wedding Colors

Have you ever thought about looking in a fashion magazine for your wedding inspiration??? Well, if you haven't you should. Fashion magazines show you what is trendy and what will be "in" for colors as well as design. Fashion mags help you to see what the new trends are in clothing as well as event design.

So, I thought I would give you a preview on what the hot colors will be in Spring 2008. This fashion color report is directly from the color experts Pantone. They have unveiled the top 10 colors for Spring 2008. “The spring ‘08 color palette perfectly reflects the cheerfulness of the season,” said Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute®. If you're getting married next spring this should help you with your color selections if you have not already made them.

Cute Alternative to Votive Candles

They look like mini-lamps to me! I stumbled upon these cuties on Wishingfish.com and I love them. What a great alternative to the simple votive candles. This a great way to add style to your basic table. Who new a wine glass and a tea light could be so cute!

Fashion Week

Fashion Week is underway displaying the new collections for Spring 2008. I love to watch fashion shows and have determined that some of the fashion worn so beautifully down the catwalk is not supposed to leave the catwalk. That's my opinion. But anyway, I did find a number of garments that just jumped out at me and clearly make a statement. A great one I might add!

The Stylish Fall Bride

Believe it or not this Fall your wedding colors don't have to include orange! :) I have nothing against orange, but this Autumn we will be seeing a lot less of it. In it's place you'll be enjoying more vibrant tones like shades of purple, red and even yellow. If you are in disbelief go take a look in your fav boutique and you'll be pleasantly surprised with the colors for this season.

The inspiration board I did above, includes the beautiful purple wine tone, accented with the chocolate brown, a color that doesn't seem to be going away any time soon. I just wanted to post a little eye candy to inspire you autumn brides-to-be out there!!

The Hot Colors for Fall 2007!

Pantone, Inc is the world renowned authority on color and they have released their annual Fashion Color Report for 2007. If for some reason you are getting married this fall and you have not developed your color scheme for your event, first give me a call because you are running out of time and second take a look at the colors that will make your event magazine worthy! Not only are they great colors they have uber-cute names. These are my favs :

• Carafe which reminds me of my favorite beverage coffee.
• Lemon Curry which is a deep yellow that would a great accent color.
• Chili Pepper which is sure to add a little spice to your event.
• Purple Wine which is truly not your Barney purple. This color is not one people would normally choose for fall, but if used correctly could make your event breathtaking.
  

Remember when picking colors for your event make sure they are colors that you truly love. When your guests walk into that venue to see you tie the knot, the space should be filled with details that has your personal stamp on them and that includes your colors as well.
