Button Mums: The Not-so-Ordinary Wedding Flower

I initially started this post to talk about this gorgeous clutch and ring pillow covered with mums by Branch Design Studio and captured by Juliet Elizabeth Photography, but I got so inspired by these little flowers. They come in a variety of colors and are plentiful during the fall.

I love how these mums create gorgeous decor pieces were found on Wedding On The Brain blog.

Mums are the perfect flower to add that pop of color to a simple white table, like this gorgeous escort card table shown on The Bride's Cafe blog.

Fabulous Escort Card Setups

escort cards

Your escort card setup can be another place where you can bring in more of your style and your wedding elements. Your card can be a simple tent card or it can be something more unique like a rock or an apple. No matter what it is do not neglect the space. Make it fabulous by adding your personal style. Here are some of my favorites.

What a beautiful use of natural elements:

An escort card table we set up at a recent wedding. We simply took one of the crates the rental coffee cups came in and used it as a stand to add some height to the table. The bride liked how it came out.

Just a reminder, your escort card tells your guest at what table they are seated. A place card is actually on the table and tells your guest where they are seated at the table.

Pinning a Boutonniere

Boutonniere

Can you pin this? Is the question I am always asked when I go and check on the groomsmen. Laura at Wish Special Events (formerly Soiree Special Events) blogged about this same topic awhile ago. If you do not have a wedding coordinator this is something you will need to know how to do. Click here to read Laura's great step-by-step instructions on pinning a boutonniere.

Thank God for spellcheck because I always spell that wrong! :)
